How is Creature priced?
Creature uses an enterprise sustainability license. Individuals and organizations with less than $3M annual revenue AND fewer than 25 employees can use it free forever.
Above that threshold, a license is required at $15 per seat per month. There are no token costs. Creature is designed for bring-your-own AI.
Organizations above the threshold can trial Creature for 45 days before purchasing.
Is it on-premise?
Yes. Everything runs locally, with the only exception being anonymous telemetry. Creature is optimized for security-conscious teams.
Data from built-in MCP Apps is also saved locally. However, data from custom MCP Apps may be stored elsewhere depending on how they're built.
Note that your AI model provider may not be on-premise. Conversation data is sent to whichever provider you configure.
Is Creature open-source?
Creature is source-available. You can view the code and contribute to it. According to the license, all contributors retain their IP.
The license also states that Creature will convert to a fully open-source license in four years.
What security certifications does Creature have?
Creature is on-premise and source-available, allowing your security team to inspect the codebase directly. This transparency is core to our security posture.
Serverless Inc, the company behind Creature, holds SOC 2 Type 1 certification and will complete Type 2 certification in the coming months.

What built-in tools does Creature include?
Creature includes a browser with full web automation, a file editor, and a terminal. These allow the AI to browse websites, edit files in your project, and run commands on your behalf.
Everything happens with visual feedback you can see and interact with. You can watch the AI work, step in at any point, and pick up exactly where it left off.
How is my data handled?
All conversation data stays on your machine. Credentials are encrypted locally using AES-256. Anonymous telemetry can be opted out of entirely.
The only external connection is to your chosen AI provider. Your prompts and responses are sent directly to that provider and nowhere else.
AI without UI is just a black box.
